- Yammer - A social network page where posting images, links and messages are possible. A good academic alternative to Facebook.
- Whyville - Another social network where you can create an avatar, practice finances, social skills and much more in a fun and safe environment.
- Secondlife - Social network in an interactive video game targeted at high school students. This site can hold older students interests and build social skills and technological competency.
- Wetoku - A video chat site, similar to skype, but with the ability to record and post the conversation.
- Dabbleboard - Great for collaborating and brainstorming ideas. accessible by multiple people, this site is ideal for collaborating and editing ideas in a group.
- StoryJumper - A fun way to get creative and illustrate your own story book. Students can tell stories through images and text through this interactive site.
- Wikispaces - A destination for classroom coordination, this site allows multiple people to access information posted by teachers and students. A great way to keep students connected with classroom information and activities.
- Prezi - Fun and interactive, this site allows students to create slide show presentations in a new and easy to use way.
- Neat Chat - This site allows students to create a chat room and chat online with each other at any time. Students can come and go, accessing previous information as well as posting new information and/or ideas. Great for communicating with group members outside of the classroom.
- Google Translator - A free translator from Google. Type in a sentence and find the translation in over 50 languages. Spanish to English, French to Thai, and many more.
