Tech Survey Post
This is a survey document designed to find out what types of technology students have access to outside of school. This survey also helps teachers understand how competent their students are in using computers.
Newsletter
This is a mock newsletter targeted at parents of an elementary school. It includes upcoming events, a new teacher bio, school supplies required for school and a change in school bus location. All information is fictional and was used primarily for the design.
StoryJumper
Story Jumper is a fun site where you can design your own illustrated book using preexisting images as well as uploaded images and backgrounds. I created a StoryJumper book about the history of Hawaii according to a website providing breaf information about the subject. Enjoy.
Slide show
This is a slide show I made through Prezi, a fun site which makes slide shows easy to design and gives your presentation an interesting twist. Prezi is a great way to make more entertaining slide shows.
Glog
Glogster is basically a blog site where you can post information to the public but it is grounded in the design aspect. This user friendly site allows you to drag and drop images, even moving images, to create a blog posting customizable to your personality.
Final Project
My project-based learning unit plan and final project for EDST 220. This lesson plan involves research, collaboration, role playing and critical thinking. Great way to get the class actively involved in a project.
